Deciding where to go and what to do on your camping trip is a massive decision but also a very enjoyable process. When booking one of our hire campers some people already have their whole trip planned out right down to a daily itinerary of places to visit. While others just have a loose plan and want to see where the road takes them. In fact some of our favourite camping trips have been just like this, taking tips from fellow campers on our next campsite to pitch up at, however our last road trip started with a plan but as the days went on it evolved somewhat away from our schedule.
We had decided on an early September road trip for Odette's birthday, it was going to be Wales as thats her favourite place and we had a few must do's to squeeze in. 1, Stay at Graig Wen Campsite. 2, A days cycling and walking along the Mawddach Estuary 3, Birthday meal at Dylan's Restaurant in Criccieth. 4, Head to Anglesey to meet up with some friends who are building a new house on the island. As it happened we only got half of those places ticked off the list this time, after an unplanned stop off at a lovely campsite in Beddgelert we decided that we should stay there for an extra couple of nights to explore some more of the area and carry on with our other plans next time we head to Wales.
